EnhanceFitness Training Program

 

If you are interested in partnering with SVHAP to offer EnhanceFitness to seniors in Santa Clara County we are available to offer support in getting certified to our member organizations.  Here are the specific requirements for the EnhanceFitness training program.

EnhanceFitness Training – Instructor Requirements

 

The EF instructors are trained by EnhanceFitness Master Trainers. Instructors are required to have the proper educational background, and hold a nationally recognized fitness instructor certification. Some of the certificates include:

  • American Council on Exercise (ACE);

  • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)

  • Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA);

  • American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA);

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM);

  • National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA);

  • American Senior Fitness Association (SFA)

  • YMCA

Licensing Fees for EnhanceFitness 

 

Start-Up Year 1 Costs

  • SVHAP Satellite Site Fee: $500

 

Program Renewal Costs

  • Renewal Fee per site, per year: $50
