The Leadership Council advises on the overall direction of SVHAP as a sustainable infrastructure for the delivery of evidence-based health promotion programs to older adults in Santa Clara County.  The members consist of representatives from a variety of community based organizations including municipalities, hospitals and non-profit organizations.  The leadership council is instrumental in developing partnerships and opportunities for EBP expansion and sustainability within the county.

Council Responsibilities

 

• Advise SVHAP on the selection and adoption of evidence-based programs

• Assist with the marketing of healthy aging and SVHAP-sponsored programs

• Assist in securing funding for the continued support of SVHAP and evidence-based programs in Santa Clara County

• Represents the health promotion of older adults in cities and communities of Santa Clara County
