Program Summary

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a class to help caregivers take
better care of themselves while caring for a friend or relative. 

Class Structure


Classes are facilitated by trained instructors and run for 1.5 - 2.5 hours depending on the type of caregiving addressed. 

Topics discussed include:

  • How to reduce stress

  • Emotional management

  • Self-care behaviors

  • Increasing confidence in caregiving and/or coping 

  • Community Resources
